My top list of useful software I used on my daily needs of Desktop PC to improve my productivity!

Hello guys, today, I want to share my stuff here. If you want to be productive at some point, these tools might be for you. 

If you are an average PC user, you do not need to use most of these; however, to make the most of your PC, you should use some of them. I personally recommend these free tools.

Here is my top list of useful software I use on my daily needs Desktop PC to improve my productivity.

1. CCleaner

If you need to clean up your PC, this tool is useful. It also protects your privacy based on its configuration. Overall, it makes your computer faster! I use it to delete those Windows temporary files.

I also use it when my PC is slowing down.

2. K-Lite Codecs

With the K-Lite Codec Pack, you should be able to play all the popular audio and video formats, as well as several less common ones. The K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of DirectShow filters, VFW/ACM codecs, and tools. Codecs and DirectShow filters are required for encoding and decoding audio and video formats. It has a user-friendly video player. 

It can play any video file, so it's a MUST.

3. Search Everything
Search, find, look, and locate files and folders by name instantly. Unlike Windows, the "Everything" search initially displays every file and folder on your computer.

I find it faster to search for documents than Windows' built-in search.

4. Malwarebytes FREE
Malwarebytes is an anti-malware program that protects your system from suspicious and dangerous files.

Some of the antivirus products don't work well, so I choose them for cleaning, especially malware.

5. Google Chrome
My Favorite browser, but it has problems with RAM usage.

It is my primary browser, but it is a resource-hungry app, which means it will eat up more RAM and can slow down your PC.

6. SMPlayer

SMPlayer is a free media player for Windows and Linux with built-in codecs, which can also play Youtube videos, search and download subtitles, and includes other features like a thumbnail generator and audio and video filter.

It is my favorite media player because of its simplicity and low RAM and CPU usage. Oh wait, I love its feature — can download subtitles. Quite useful to me!

7. PicPick
Default screen-grabbing is good, but this is way better, customizable, and comprehensive.

8. WinRAR
Thanks for the service for free!

WinRAR is a powerful archive manager. It can backup your data and reduce the size of email attachments, decompress RAR, ZIP and other files downloaded from Internet and create new archives in RAR and ZIP file format. You can try WinRAR before buy, its trial version is available in downloads.

For compressing and decompressing needs, I used WinRAR. Free. Great guy, WinRAR!

9. Aimp
Best audio player! Simple yet had many cool features. New: Aimp4 version.

10. Mozilla Firefox
Alternatively, I used Firefox on some occasions. It is quite a good browser, except that Chrome is already in the top position.

11. VLC Player
Another good video player, I love how it runs some bigger files. I usually use it if I will be setting higher volumes.

VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player and framework that plays most multimedia files as well as DVDs, Audio CDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols.

12. F.lux
It is my top application, and it decreases my eye stress. Now, I have no problem with the vision.

f.lux is free software that warms up your computer display at night, to match your indoor lighting.
