Dota2 7.00-7.07 Support Stack/Pull Creep Guide

Support heroes are quite popular in the new major leagues of Dota2.  Who needs Five carries in a team anyway? Who will buy courier, ward, or harass enemy heroes?
Sometimes, most especially in Pub games, support heroes unlikely to have fun — it's a sacrificing star — more deaths than kills, though. Yes, of course, it is fun to see to have dominating-monster-godlike kills.

However, without Support heroes, hard carries in every game will suffer, and it will be a losing team already — and cancer players will get reported ( SEA servers ).

SUPPORT HEROES TASKS

Indeed, Support heroes are challenging ones to play! These characters will sacrifice itself for its hard carry heroes.

Some of the tasks of support heroes are as follows:
  • Stacks for the neutral creep (this will ensure the more carry heroes will have a great farm in the game)
  • Pull creeps (support can earn gold and EXP too)
  • Buy couriers and wards (of course TP, it will be beneficial for the carries)
  • Assisting in killing enemy heroes (delaying the enemy to get farmed)
  • Rotating the map and harassing the enemy heroes
  • Healing the allies (supposedly to healers)
  • Casting abilities in a team fight

As a support hero, you don't need to rely on your attacks(right-click), and you don't need to farm to get items in the early games, what a carry wants is you harass, put Ward, and use skills timely.

7.07c:

* Bounty Runes: Base XP reduced from 50 to 25
* Bounty Runes: XP Growth increased from 5/min to 7/Min
* TP Scroll: Initial cooldown increased to 10 seconds after creeps spawn
* Neutral Troll Priest: Mana Regeneration aura reduced from 3 to 1.5
* Hero respawn time adjustments (level 12-20)

7.07b:
* Backdoor Protection damage reduction increased from 25% to 40%


LANING
  • Middle lane no longer has an additional melee creep.
  • Creeps now meet closer to each team's respective safe lanes.
  • Denies XP granted to the enemy (the player being denied) reduced from 70% to 25%
  • Denied XP gained by the denier reduced from 30% to 25%
  • Neutrals killing lane creeps is now considered the same as the enemy creeps killing them—it's not a deny, and gives full XP. You must deny the creep yourself to deny its XP.
  • Total Wave XP (the 4 creeps) increased from 210 to 240
  • Melee Creeps XP increased from 40 to 57
  • Range Creeps XP reduced from 90 to 69 (result of both changes is 240)
  • Melee creep bounty increased by 4
  • Range creep bounty increased by 12 (overall total gold per wave increased by 24)
  • First neutral creep spawn changed from 30 seconds to 1 minute
  • Base hero-kill XP bounty (non-assist portion) for level 1-5 reduced from 100/120/140/160/180 to 30/60/90/120/150 (You still get extra XP for hero kills from the assist formula)
  • XP range increased from 1300 to 1500
  • XP required going from level 1 to level 2 reduced from 240 to 200
  • XP required going from level 2 to level 3 increased from 360 to 400
  • Tier 1 tower HP increased from 1400 to 1600

SHRINES AND GLYPH
  • Removed Shrines from the base (replaced by filler buildings)
  • The glyph now causes your creeps to be invulnerable for the glyph duration.
CREEPS
  • Extra siege creeps now spawn at 30 minutes instead of 40 minutes.
  • Siege creep HP increased by 50
  • Fixed extra lane creeps spawning a minute too late (the ones at 15/30/40/45 minutes for melee/melee/range/melee).
  • Lane Creeps upgrade amount is now capped at Mega Creeps (previously, if a game went on for over ~4 hours, it was possible for creeps to be stronger than mega).

DENY MECHANICS
  • Creep denies now grant the denying team 30% of the XP bounty
  • Normal deny XP increased from 50% to 70% 
SHRINES
  • Shrines now start on cooldown and become available at 5 minutes
  • Reduced Shrine count in base from 5 to 3 
  • Shrines mana regeneration growth per minute reduced from 1 to 0.75
LANES
  • Added an extra melee creep in mid lane for the first 15 minutes
  • Creeps meet a bit closer to the offlane tower
  • Creep aggro duration reduced from 2.5 to 2.3
  • Creep aggro cooldown increased from 2.5 to 3.0
  • Lane creeps vision reduced from 850/800 to 750 
NEUTRALS
  • Neutrals now spawn every minute instead of every 2 minutes
  • Neutrals now give 20% less XP and Gold
  • Neutrals XP and Gold now increased by 2% every 7.5 minutes 
CREEPS
  • Siege damage type vs structures increased from 150% to 250%
  • Siege creeps HP increased from 550 to 825
  • Siege creeps spawn rate reduced from every 7th wave to every 10th wave
  • Extra Ranged/Siege creeps now spawn at 40 minutes instead of 45
