A 30-Minute Comedy-Action Movie Hits Internet

Well, this is a bit nostalgia. What a surprise movie inspired way back in 1980s with this world premiere action-comedy 30-minute film.

Kung Fury is an comedy action-packed with glamorous-cheesy special effects that gives chillin-nostalgic effect on the viewer (certainly for me!).

David Sandberg, Swedish writer, director, and filmmaker, a.k.a Laser Unicorns finally released a 30-minute action-comedy film in Youtube which making rounds in the internet.

The movie circles around a Kung Fu cop (starring David Sandberg himself) who travels time and he teams up with sexy vikings, giant THOR, cop-dinosaur, and great hacker to kill evil Hitler who wanted to be the Kung Fury!

Along the adventure of the protagonist, it displayed great visual effect and packed with 1980s retro gadgets and techno soundtracks.

‘Kung Fury’ takes place in a variety of exotic locations; 1980s Miami, Asgard and Germany in the 1940s, to name a few. With a limited budget to work with, we had to solve this by shooting most of the scenes against a greenscreen backdrop.
‘Kung Fury’ was funded mainly through a Kickstarter campaign, where people from all around the world showed their support for this crazy project. David worked on the film for a more than a year with almost no budget but a strong vision, with the help of friends and family. Most of the film has already been shot, but additional filming and lots of visual effects remain to be done. ~ LaughingSquid
