Did A Man File Lawsuit Against His Wife for Giving Ugly Baby? Real or Hoax?

It is reported that after a couple have an ugly baby, the father divorced and sued his wife by the child's unusually appearance. Yes, probably this news was making rounds on social media.

Claim: Did a Chinese man man divorced and sued his wife for £55,000 other version $120,000 after discovering she had a plastic surgery before they met?

Brief Answer: No, It is a HOAX!

Original Story
This story has already been circulating since 2004. It goes like this:

When a father named Jian Feng suspected his wife for infidelity, yet after the DNA test it was proven that he was in fact the father of the so-called "ugly child". He also realized that his wife undergo plastic surgery prior they have met.

When he filed for a lawsuit, he based his reasoning that he was indeed deceived by his wife.

In 2004, it has two variations:
A Chinese man has divorced and sued his wife for £55,000 after discovering she’d had plastic surgery before they met. Jian Feng, 38, was said to have been horrified when she gave birth to an ugly baby daughter. He suspected her of having an affair.
His wife then confessed to having plastic surgery costing £70,000 in South Korea before they met and showed him a picture of how she used to look.
He filed for divorce two years after marrying her following a whirlwind romance.

Hong Kong – A disgusted husband in northern China divorced his wife and sued her for deceit after discovering that she had had plastic surgery before they met, a news report said on Wednesday.
Jian Feng became suspicious when the beautiful woman he married two years earlier gave birth to an ugly daughter last year, according to the Hong Kong edition of the China Daily.
Jian, from Hegang, Heilongjiang province, demanded to know if she had been unfaithful to him and to prove her fidelity. His wife then showed him a photograph of herself taken before her cosmetic surgery.
The woman had travelled to South Korea before they met and paid more than $100,000 (almost R675 000) for surgery to make her better looking, the newspaper said.
Horrified at the picture, Jian divorced his wife and successfully sued for compensation of $120,000.

This photo has now been circulating on internet and it outbreaks the reference "children" rather than a single daughter.

In 2012 version, the photo of "before and after" image that is allegedly the wife of Jian Feng. It was circulated in 2012.

Is this a real story? Or fake? Well, apparently it is not TRUE, the source item was originated in a printed in the Heilongjiang Morning Post, a Chinese newspaper known for publishing fake stories or urban legend without verification.

Anyway, according to Snopes,  the Chinese newspaper company The Heilongjiang Morning Post apologised for publishing a false story without verifying the facts. Which tells us that this story of a man who sued his wife for bearing "extremely ugly baby" is just a HOAX.

Also a reliable news company(Huffington Post and ABC 15) confirmed that the story was a HOAX in 2013.

Critical observation on Family Portrait, if the man file a lawsuit to his wife then why they already have two more children together?
