Hewlett-Packard (HP) Splits Into Two Public Companies

Hewlett-Packard Co. already confirmed that it is splitting-up into two separate public companies: one is PC and Printer Businesses assets and the another is for services operations enterprises.

According to TechSpot, HP will receive PC and printing assets and attend business needs. Enterprise computing and services will be focused on new companies while the other will be tasked to build and sell PC and printers.

Officers
The President and Chief Executive Officer of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Meg Whitman, will still remain while Patricia Russo will be the Chairperson of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise board.

The president and Chief Executive Officer of HP, Inc., will be Dion Weisler and Meg Whitman will become Chairperson of HP Inc.'s board.

Reasonably Valid
The Wall Street Journal reported that the breaking up into two public companies will be a Tax-Free distribution of shares to stockholders which each will gain an annual revenue more than $50 billion.
