SanDisk Launches Insanely 512GB SD Card

SanDisk yesterday launched its new SanDisk Extreme PRO SDX UHS-1, a SD card which makes it the world's highest capacity that can hold 512 GB of information.
The company said that their new SD card will aim at those heavy-intensive-pro-level photographers and videographers who want to shoot in 4K resolution. WoW!

Dinesh Bahal, vice president of product marketing at SanDisk said in a statement
"4K Ultra HD is an example of a technology that is pushing us to develop new storage solutions capable of handling massive file sizes. The 512GB SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I card is a tremendous advancement that enables professionals to reliably store more content on a single card than ever before."
This new SD sports with 90 MB/s write speeds and up to 95 MB/s read speeds. Sounds pretty fast huh?
