Ironman 70.3 Philippines: Available for Globe/TM

Families and supporters of the estimated 2,500 athletes who will compete in the 6th Ironman 70.3 Philippines can now easily get real-time updates on the race performance of the participants via their Globe or TM phone.

The 6th Ironman 70.3 Philippines will be racing to take part in Mactan, Cebu tomorrow August 3, 2014. It is estimated that there are 2500 total athletes to compete the said competition.

In order for friends, families, and supporters to get real-time updates, Globe Telecom, which is the official technology platform for Ironman 70.3 Philippines, said to be equipped with mobile service solution to track the race of athletes.

The service was developed by XURPAS, a mobile solutions company, which give supporters and GLOBE/TM subscribers to get updates easily.

For a supporter to get a text update, he/she can text:

TRI (space) to 2600

In every text sent, it will cost up to P2.50 or P20 for eight alerts.

Those who are attending Ironman 70.3 Philippines at Mactan this Sunday can capture the best photo showing an athlete gunning for faster run, bike, and swim time.

Share your own Ironman quest! Those who will not be at the event can still join by uploading photos that show their own quest towards becoming an Ironman.

3. Just keep sharing.

The contest runs from August 2 to August 6.
