Convergys Corporation To Acquire Stream Global Services

Convergys Corporation, a customer management services provider, will buy its rival Stream Global Services Inc. from its private owners worth $820 million in cash.

According to Reuter's report, it is said that its the largest deal ever to expand both client base and international. 

Convergys also said that the deal shall add 35 cents to profits.

Moreover, it is stated that both enter in a definitive merger agreement under Convergys. The combined company shall be expected to exceed $3 billion in revenue.

Stream’s client base companies: 
  • Dell Inc.
  • Hewlett-Packard

  • Nike Inc.

  • Western Digital.
Convergys will buy Stream from Ares Management and Providence Equity Partners, as well as from LiveIt, the business process outsourcing investment arm of Ayala Corp.
