Actually, I purchased it for 12,995k with retractable mouse.

Acer TravelMate B113 is very cheap with a size of 11.6. It comes with an 4400mAh battery and 2GB of RAM DDR3. Supports Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n it keeps up with modern standards. The model implies for outdoor usage. However, I did not buy it for outdoor use only but for my budget ranged. Of course, I am happy with it.

Acer TravelMate has a sleek keyboard design. Wait its lighter. It weighs 1380 grams. The display quite impressive and it has 11.6.

Sleek and slim

Keyboard quite impressive and easy to tap
Screen is so smooth. LED-Backlit LCD screen type
What makes it more affordable is the built-in Operating System – Linpus Linux. It has a boring black/white screen only. Of course, it is FREE. Comparing to other device that has a Windows 8, it has a price of 15k. Well, I saved 2k for that. :) It is very ideal for those who wants a cheaper price. However, you need to install OS (Legitimate).

Linpus Linux
Okay, I have Windows 7 OS 30 days trial. As seen below. I really want to install Windows 8 trial but I just need to download it first. Meanwhile, I installed Windows 7 32 bit to test it out.

Installing Drivers
Remarkably has a good visual display. It may be brighter but it has a good color balance display.

Final Note
Acer TravelMate does not only use for outdoor. But I bought it because I want to test some Windows 8 in near future.

Though, it has only 128MB video memory, I could not use any high-consumed graphics editor like Photoshop. That said, this is merely for viewing PDF files, editing documents, browsing internet, heck no playing candy crush, and testing purposes.

Tip:
  • If you already have an OS, then you may choose LINUS OS instead. It is cheaper.
  • For graphic artist, this is not recommended.
  • Yet, a 12-15k is worth for a netbook ;)
  • Save and Improve Battery Life

  • Netbook has been tagged to wipe-out because of the tablets. However, I still choose it. For convenience at affordable price.
