Tropical Depression Fabian PH

PAGASA or Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration issued tropical cyclone alert as of early of 11:am for the next tropical depression named "FABIAN" after "EMONG". PAGASA stated  Tropical Depression, FABIAN developed to a Low Pressure Area was situated west of Batangas, located 290 km west of Iba, Zambales with the maximum wind speed of 55 kph near center.

It is also forecast that tropical depression Fabian will be outside of PAR(Philippine Area of Responsibility) Saturday morning.

Furthermore, it is said that no public storm warning signal. Thus, no announcement of suspension of classes and works.

Estimation

Rainfall amount is from 5 - 15 mm per hour (moderate - heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression.

Tropical Depression "FABIAN" has no direct effect to any part of the country. However, it will enhance the Southwest Monsoon which will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over the western section of Luzon particularly Palawan.
The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and the next update will be incorporated in the 24-hour weather forecast to be issued at 5 pm today.
