Chinese New Year 2013: Year of The Snake Google Doodle

Today's Google Doodle Featuring Chinese New Year 2013: The Year of the Snake! Shhhhhs. For Chinese, its a great traditional event. Now, Google has this Snake Game that you can play in their site.

For non-chinese, the new year is mostly celebrated on January 1, or Midnight 12am on December 31 every year. Of course, new year had been noted for fireworks in which Chinese made it way back.

Google celebrated by putting a Snake game on their site that features The year of the Snake. A Chinese new year 2013.

It is said that the most important Chinese holidays, is this Chinese New Year. Why? In China, it is Spring Festival ( feast of prosperity). That's  made mostly Chinese rich and very successful in business?

This 2013, Year of the Snake. What does it mean? Is year of the snake be prosperous year? Some says, snakes were monsters in which some political turbulence will occurred.
