Who is REALLY Santa Claus?

As the song goes on ♪ "You better watch out...You better not cry... You better not pout...I'm telling you why".♫ You should really not cry.... Santa Claus Is Coming to Town is one of the famous Christmas Songs I've ever heard. In fact, it became an instant hit that it made more than 400,000 copies sold by Christmas.

Every December (maybe on late November) I already heard that song on every neighborhood's corner. Santa Claus is Coming to Town was FIRST SUNG on Eddie Cantor's radio show in November 1934. It was written by John Frederick Coots and Haven Gillespie. But who is really Santa Claus?
Back with my younger days, i reminisced and remembered that i used to put a sock hung on Guava tree morning in the Christmas eve thinking i could get a some gifts from Santa Claus on midnight. Oh yes, i was surprised to see that it actually had candies on my sock...

But as i grow up and develop some kind of thinking, i realized it was my parents who put candies on my sock and Santa Claus with Flying reindeer was a folklore tale. It MUST be a FUNNY and STUPID experience back then...^_^
