Google Tributes to Gustav Klimt 150th

Today July 14 2012, Google's homepage featuring Gustav Klimt on his 150th birthday.  Gustav Klimnt born July 14 1862 and dies February 6, 1918 was an Austrian symbolist painter.

Google Front Design - The Kiss ( Der Kuss in German)
The Kiss was a perfect square with depicts couple embracing their bodies twine with robes painted between 1907-08. The work was influenced both linear contemporary with Art Nouveau style and organic forms of Arts and Crafts movement. This piece composed of oil paint with gold left layers (modern aspect style that has evocative look ). Gustav Klimnt painted it at the age 45 living with his mother and two sisters. The kiss is now considered most popular work for Klimnt and it is a symbol of Vienna Jugendstil -- Viennese Art Nouveau. No wonder that Google choose this together with its word to feature it with their homepage.

This piece was made by the fascination with eroticism by the artist. It was a representation of female model who embraced with robes.
