If you are currently attending school, you will be happy to see the date on your calendar-- at least with this day. February 25 2013 is an EDSA People Power Revolution Anniversary (PPRA) day. Yes, it is a special holiday that President Benigno S. Aquino III declared. If you are working in the government or other private companies who follow holidays, and thought it has no work on Monday, February 25, 2013, then cancel all unwinding appointments because President said, February 25, 2013 is a holiday only -- no class only on SCHOOLS. I repeat on SCHOOLS ONLY, the students now indeed are very happy especially on those lazy students haha. :) anyways. You have no allowance for that date. :P
The EDSA People Power Revolution serves as an inspiration to Filipinos everywhere, as a nation and as a people.
Secretary of Labor and Employment - DOLE, Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz promulgated the implementing guidelines for Proclamation No. 459, s. 2012, declaring the regular holidays, special (non-working) days, and special holiday (for all schools) for the 2013.
Conclusion:
February 25, 2013 is a special holiday for all SCHOOLS nationwide. Therefore, Cheers No Class! And Workers for both private and government MUST duty on that day.It is an ordinary workday and has no premium payment rendered work on that day.

well that article last posted on 2008 and it was declared by GMA to be non-working holiday, but here, PNoy, declared it differently. Thus, it has no class on all SCHOOLS only. And those who worked on private and public still need to duty and to work thank.

How about school personnels? the academic and non academic?
ReplyDeletedepends on the school's rule, advisory, and policy. Sometimes, school personnel frequently did extra job to go to school for work. However, since it has no school classes, instructors have no students to make a class thus he/she might not able to teach and just relax on that day.
