Settings for SmartBro Dashboard
Before Setting Up this ULTRASURF,configure first your smartbro dashboard. There is a setting for that.

Requirements:
1. You need to have at least 1-9 Pesos.
2. You need to use Smart Buddy Sim (smartbro sim will not work)

Step-by-Step smartbro dashboard:
1. Click Settings
2. Click Network Settings Tab
3. then Click Add Button


It will now displays Config File GUI

Values: (put the Bold ones)
[] Config Filename: Smart Buddy(any name)
[] Dial number: *99#
[] APN: internet

Then hit OK.


Select your Config File that you input any name. And Click Set Default. So that when you run it again, you will not choose again and again.

Then Connect! For SMARTBRO TROUBLESHOOTING

TIPS:

  • If you noticed that your internet connection (browsing/streaming/downloading) becomes slow, then restart your Usurf.
  • You will also know if you have fast connection when the usurf connects very fast(one bar preferred yet it connects)

NOTE!!! 
u98 and u1007 files can be detected as virus/trojan/worm in your antivirus... dont worry these files are Safe!! 
Some AntiVirus detects these as a treat because it will allow exceptions in the firewall, that is why some antivirus falsely detect it. I used NOD32 Smart Security Business Edition and it doesnt detect these files as virus. :)

Q:I downloaded Usurf, How do i configure these?
A: Okay, Run it then click the option icon -> click Proxy Settings -> then choose Manual then add






For Smart BRO

IP: 10.102.61.46
port: 8080


By the way, you add use this ip address
As of July 2011: new IP: 121.1.3.200
port: 8080

For Globe
proxy: 203.177.42.214:8080 or 192.40.100.20:8080 (not  yet now july2011)

Eventhough i have a low signal..stilll ( based on test ) it is really faster than TOR network.


You will know if it is successfully connected if this IE browser  will be open or you can see Successfully Connected in Usurf's status bar. You can set configure this not to open every time you will connect.

Tips and Tricks To Your SmartBro
BROWSER SETTINGS(Since ultrasurf automatically set your browser proxy settings) for the sake of those who are curious on how to set. Also if you are not sure if you already had correct configuration this is better)

Google Chrome Settings

go to Wrench Icon -> click Options -> Click Under the Hood tab -> Click Proxy Settings

you may also check the proxy server
127.0.0.1
port: 9666

Also works on other application like YM, Antivirus.....

Just set 127.0.0.1 (localhost)
and port: 9666
or You may choose Automatically Detect Settings
Firefox Settings

Goto Tools -> click Options 
Under the Options -> Click Advanced Icon Tab -> then click Network Tab -> click Settings Button

In Connection Settings you can choose either Auto-Detect Proxy or Use System Proxy settings
For manual proxy:
Http Proxy: 127.0.0.1 Port: 9666


Opera Settings

Click Menu -> click Settings -> then Preferences


In the preferences Menu -> click Advanced tab -> click Network  -> click Proxy Servers button


In proxy server GUI


Internet Explorer Settings

Click Tools -> then Internet Options ->


In Internet Option Menu -> click Connections tab ( this menu has the same process in google chrome)

IMPORTANT:
if you cant see your config file here..then choose LAN SETTINGS instead

Click the the LAN SETTINGS and put:
Proxy Address: 127.0.0.1  (means localhost or your PC Local Ip Address)
Port: 9666 (usurf) - 8118 (Tor Browser)

  11. sir gamit usurf 10.16 globe tattoo ung stick ko but i inserted smart buddy sim kc ayaw magconnect ni globo.. pero bakit 53.6kb lang connection speed ko po?
    if ung globe tatto sim ung i.insert ko 3.6mb naman ung spedd kaya lang ayaw magconnect ung usurf

  12. okeys sa network na yun... minsan gumamit ako ng globe sa kaibigan ko yes.. 3MB + talaga yun globe sa connection lng.. whereas sa smart usually 0-50kb/s lng talaga... pero if maka connect kana sa usurf,,,minsan muabot sa 500kb/s ..depende sa oras yun... at depende kung anong site na visit mo... like transport rate and receive rate mag depende talaga sa site, sa usurf, sa smart, at sa oras,,.. i recommend usurf 9.8 gamitin mo.. mas stable

  16. sir gumagamit ako ng usurf kaso sa globe prating failed then ngtry ako ng lod sa globe unli pa..at ngtry ako gumamit ng usurf at gumana nman prang gusto ata ng lod pra gumana sa globe ska kng sa smart nangangain ng piso..any suggestion kng sa globe khit ba wlang lod gagana usurf??

  17. false alarm yan kasi yung u98 at u1007 may e allow xa sa firewall natin..kaya nag re react yun anti virus..pero sa sakin.. i use nod32 ESS BE so di nya na detect... :) e exclude lng ninyo yung file

  21. Admin, di na working yung ultrasurf. 2 weeeks ko nagamit then this August 8, hindi na magconnect. pero may nededetect pa siya na server sa proxy 192.40.100.20. Patry naman ulit then pakipost kung working pa. Globe Tattoo po kit ko. Thanks more power!

  22. bakit po ganun nagamit ko sya pero after 1 1/2 hr. ayaw na nya macoonect.. The connection to the remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this connection was closed. ayan na.. huhuhuh helppppppppp naman :((((

  24. e reconnect mo lang yun usurf if naka labas yun error messages...sakin kasi..i tried 15times,then naka connect ako...minsan mg lalaro ako lng angry birds in 15mins at balik din agad..patient lng :)

  27. Guys Gmit kau NOd32 na anti virus taz go to setup then advance setup then exclusion then add nyo u1016.exe...
    Taz pag error nman ang usurf wag nyo close hayaan nyo lng may connection parin yan

  28. Yes, correct yan... hindi lang sa Nod32 pwede ka mag exclusion, pwede lahat nang antivirus basta e set mo lang yung options to exclude :)) salamat sa payo mo :P

    sa usurf naman.. yes pwede yan..pero i would suggest to restart nalng..mas mabilis maka browse yun :)

  35. di ko alam yung bluetooth connection pero pwede maging modem ang CP mo..basta high-end lng yung mobile mo.. of corse, may gprs/wifi capabilities..at dapat may usb wire ka para connect mo sa pc mo...pc suite/samsung connect/etc...pwede yun :) pero di ko pa na blog :)

  43. Hindi ko alam sa SUN but i think may trick then yan, di ko lang na reresearch kasi di ako sun user kasi, try mo lang mag search sa net..(&_&)

    i advised usurf talaga kasi MABILIS at MAS STABLE pa xa kaysa tor++,

    by the way, may na research ako noon sa SUN but never tried it so di ko na eni blog ko dito :)

    1. Wala pang latest para sa globe+ultrasurf...:) just keep updated :) pero pwede ka rin gumamit nang VPN ..nandito lng sa blog na ito

    2. Semi-Illegal ito hehe.kasi nag access lng tayu nang free...pero take note... ang network ang may BUG/HOLE para maka connect tayo... at mas mahina ito kays asa normal load lng :) so kwets lng =) yung proxy na gamit sa smartbro ay sa Smart Proxy din..

    3. Wala pa rin settings sa ultrasulf..i advise gamit ka sa torrific.com for torrents download :)

    Sa mga globe user, di parin maka connect ito sa usurf pero may ibang location na pwedeng magamit eto.

    for usurf, it will compatible in all versions :)

    well, actually ma detect xa as virus/trojan kasi may ena open na firewall ports kasi xa..pero sa aking nod32 ESS business edition...d naman nya nadedetech... at sa ibang AV rin tulad nang avg,avast,norton...false alarm lng yan...anyways..https di naman e encrypt yun url.. yung data na naka travel sa net...
    tapos na receive nang https port(443).

    kahit nga normal internet connection mo ay na hahack parin..so case-to-case basis lng.. :)

    2. sa globe naman ok then yung speed connect..

    3. sa smartbro naman..kapag nakita nilang nag donwload ka nang malaking files..may chance na ma block yung sim mo..so di ka maka makakaconnect.. buy kalng nang bago..

    4. para sa torrent download..use torrific.com salamat sa nag help dito.

    5. connection to the remote computer? baka may problema sa usurf that time and day :) try to check the settings too..baka nawala.. :)
